Samhain is an ancient Celtic holiday that is both the origin of Halloween and an important contemporary celebration for pagans and other followers of Earth-based faiths. Samhain marks the end of the final harvest, the beginning of the Celtic New Year, and also the beginning of the dark months that will end with Yule (Winter Solstice). In observance of Samhain, Christian Axsiom will talk about the “Magick” that surrounds us, our connections with the departed, and what we can look forward to in this dark time of the year. We will also conduct a ritual to honor and remember those we have lost in the year that has passed.
