Christmas Day Dinner
UUCC is mobilizing for our annual Christmas Day Dinner where we deliver hot meals (and toys) to those in need on Christmas Day. We need your help! The project takes more than 100 volunteers on Christmas Day. Read our page for more information, or volunteer.
Family Promise
Social Justice Crew -
I just wanted to share the happy news that our Board voted last night to move forward with UUCC serving as a host congregation for the Family Promise Interfaith Hospitality Network!
A special thanks to Mike Hartley, Rev. Lynda and our board liaison, Amy Hayden for helping to make this happen.
Now, we can hang tight until Family Promise of Hendricks County gets up and running in full. The hope is to get the program started in November of this year, with UUCC hosting for the first time in the first of second quarter of 2014. Family Promise is one step closer to having all the host congregations they need thanks to the big (crazy?) hearts of the member of UUCC. Yay!
