Sisterhood: A Snapshot of our History

Their final project centers around trauma-informed and healing-centered methods of facilitation, yoga instruction, and community-building. They are passionate about offering presentations, workshops, and talks on spiritual care, community care, embodied healing, and activism.

Beyond academics, Kaia works as a Youth Minister with Ohio Valley Yearly Meeting and volunteers with Richmond Civic Theatre,  Survivor Theatre Project, and Warp & Woof Stories. Their sermon, Prophetic Sisterhood: A Snapshot of Our History provides a window into Cynthia Grant Tucker’s stunning research on liberal women’s ministry on the Western frontier from  Lurasidone vs lurasidone 1880-1930. Kaia is grateful for the opportunity to join the UU Community Church of Hendricks County this Sunday!

Musicians are Skylark and Larry Prather.
