http://shinyfastandloud.com/?feed=rss2 “Flower Communion” 2023 marks 100 years since Nobert Čapek first introduced a flower ceremony as a different way of approaching communion, one more fitting for a Unitarian Church. Join UUCC to learn about the rich history of flower communions – and to participate in our very own! Everyone is encouraged to bring their own flower (from a garden, yard, woods, roadside, etc.) and place it on the altar. After a blessing, each person will choose a different flower to take home than the one they brought.
