Vereshchagino Congratulations to Artist, Eileen Alexander for being awarded a number of Blue Ribbons and Reserve Champion Rosettes in various categories, classes, and departments at this year’s Hendricks County Fair. Eileen not only serves as one of your UUCCHC Board Members but is a part of the Care & Concern Committee and our cleaning crew. She is a member of The Crewel Jewels Needlework Guild which meets in Brownsburg under the direction of Artist Marci Slinski.

equally This year The Crewel Jewels will be recognized as the newest group to join the Purdue Extension Services Homemaker Clubs following the close of the fair. Members of The Crewel Jewels have exhibited and volunteered for many years as docents in the Adult Open Class Art Room. This year, during the fair, we also helped to staff the Purdue Extension Homemakers Booth. UUCCHC members are very involved in the Arts and in efforts to promote this community. Bravo Eileen!
