http://vintagegoodness.com/2016/08/ “I cannot do all the good that the world needs. But the world needs all the good that I can do.” – Jana Stanfield, All The Good The UUCCHC spirit was in full chalice-lit mode on Saturday, Aug. 21, when about 15 church members gathered for a long overdue clean up. It’s been a long 18 months of isolation, but our sense of community is not gone. Everyone worked together and supported each other like no time had passed. The intention is to get the church building ready for a return to in-person services. Masks were optional as most, if not all, in attendance were vaccinated. Our hard workers in attendance included (but is not limited to): Jeff & Cindy Haverly – outside windows & supplies, cleaning; Adam Bowman – many thanks for much of the equipment used; Marci Alvis-Slinski – coordinated sanctuary cleaning; Eileen Alexander – kitchen cleaning; Anne Johnson – outdoor restoration; Lynn and Neal Jettpace; Pat Lewis; Theresa Bordenkecher & Jay Elliott; Libby and Tom Brinker – Power washing & miscellaneous; Jim Hermiller; and Kaitlyn ???. Thank you for all of the good you did for our church home and family! |
