The Unitarian Universalist Community Church stands for religious freedom and the pursuit of cultural and religious diversity. As individuals, we are each seeking and finding spiritual fulfillment in different ways; yet we share the common characteristics of openness to new ideas and acceptance of others regardless of religious or cultural differences. We believe in spiritual values that build finer human beings, and that ethical living is the supreme witness of religion. We affirm the worth of every human being and trust every person’s ability to build their own spiritual framework. We do not assent to any creed or statement of faith. The Unitarian Universalist Community Church is a small, committed group of people with the desire to build a church congregation to serve Hendricks county communities. It is our vision to establish a family-centered church that will provide an open setting for spiritual growth and development. We hope to reach area residents whose spiritual needs are not currently being met through existing churches. We aspire to grow rapidly, but recognize the need to proceed judiciously.
